About Anne Guildford

I trained initially as a psychoanalytic psychotherapist at the Tavistock Institute in London and with the British Association of Psychotherapists (now part of the BPF)

I then went on to train as a Psychoanalyst with the British Psychoanalytic Association

All my trainings are registered with the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC). The BPC is the most senior organisation representing the professions of psychoanalysis and psychoanalytic psychotherapy in the UK

The organisations belonging to the BPC offer the highest level of professional training available in the UK.

In addition to my private practice I have held Honorary Psychotherapist posts in the NHS in London and in Brighton. Prior to training as a psychotherapist I also worked for several years as a counsellor for not-for-profit organisations. My consulting room is in the Fiveways area of Brighton.

I practice under the Ethical Code of the British Psychoanalytic Council.
